I visited a Prison and here are some of the inmates’ stories…

On Wednesday, November 8th 2017, I joined the Experiential learning trip for a Sociology class, to the Oregon State Penitentiary which was led by Professor Michelle Inderbitzin. Going as a group provided me the unique opportunity to learn from my peers and gain further insight on the prisoners’ lives with the different questions they asked that I couldn’t have thought of. It also provided a unique opportunity to interact with my peers and the inside men outside of the class setting.
